Not all furniture needs to be French polished. We combine traditional polishing with modern lacquering using the latest heat and water resistant lacquers and varnishes in our work rooms.

Our restoration and repair services include:

  • We carry out repairs for all types of chairs, repairing loose or damaged joints or broken legs
  • We offer a hand painting service for furniture
  • We can strip and lacquer bar tops, doors, wood panelling, staircases and banisters
  • We can supply and fit new desk top leathers with or without gold tooling in a wide range of colours
  • Brass handles can be replaced on drawers and new castors on legs
  • We can offer a full upholstery service including securing all joints, re-springing, renewing chair pads or chair seats and re-caning
  • Furniture can be recovered using your own materials or with fabrics and leathers sourced by us.
